Top 5 Best Most Epic Pool Resorts in Ubud, Bali

When I think of the best pool resorts, I think of expansive infinity aqua plunge pools that meet with a gorgeous view of a jungle, ocean, or city lights. Let's be honest we all want that Instagram-able location where it looks like we're gracefully walking on water like it's nothing but it's really an infinity pool ledge. Or better yet drone footage of us diving into a magical oasis-like pool. Bali has mastered infinity pools like a piece of cake and you feel so blessed to be living out your vision board dreams when there.

What I love about Bali is the number of options there of resorts that tick off my needs. However, because there are so many great options, information OVERLOAD is a real thing and it can cause stress and anxiety in deciding where to pick. I hope to remove some of that stress by doing the research and narrowing down my top 5 choices of epic pool resorts in Ubud, Bali.

1. Jungle Fish

Where the pool edge meets Tarzan's home, you’ll feel like you’re swimming into a jungle that you can touch with your fingertips. Jungle Fish is a pool bar that is usually not overly crowded and is the best way to spend your day for relaxation and fun. You not only get the best cocktails and freshest food but you get to enjoy amazing hospitality and of course heartbreaking views. This 35 m pool is a perfect long rectangle located high up by the treetops and surrounded by cozy lounge chairs to admire it all.

2. Cretya

Three abstract overlaying pools facing so much greenery? Yes, please! Located directly in front of the famous Tegalalang rice terraces this resort did not hesitate to pull its inspiration from the beautifully layered rice fields. Cretya Ubud is a relaxing, luxurious, fun, and private Terrace Club, where you can go swimming and get those breathtaking pictures you've always wanted. So picture perfect, wear your cutest bikini and go all out.

3. Hanging Gardens

One of Bali’s most famous infinity pools. I found this spot while browsing Instagram for reviews on resorts. So many people creating reels raving about this place and just by the pictures and videos, I can see why. Hanging Gardens blesses us with this multi-level masterpiece that was awarded “best swimming pool in the world” not just once. What's better than laying your head at the edge of an infinity pool and hearing the sounds of pure bliss that is nature? An overall world-class resort with excellent reviews.

An Instagram-fave. Again another three-layered pool with high drops and beautiful curves, because why not be extra and go all out when it comes to infinity pools? Surrounded by the jungle as you should be, Bali is all about letting go of all your stresses and being present in Mother Nature. The Kayon Jungle Resort did not disappoint with its architecture and design as they are not only at a great location close to central Ubud but they offer exquisite service so you will be left relaxed and content during your stay.

5. Padma

Padma's architecture and design of their outdoor space are by far from one of my top favorites. This 89m infinity pool is the resort's center masterpiece. Their heated feature is particularly inviting in the night as heat dissipates and you are greeted with a cooler breeze. Below their main pool, is another, more intimate pool, where you can hide away from the buzz of any guests. How much more paradise-y can it get in this luxe jungle retreat? Enjoy a cocktail at the epically designed pool bar and just bask in the fact that you're living you're BEST life.
