Best/Fun Things to do in 2 days in Thailand. Cost Breakdown of 2 days in Thailand.
Thailand is filled with coral light blue waters, mango smoothies, thousands of nearby islands, lush nature, loud insects called Cicadas, thai messages, and much more. Although I only had 2 full days in Thailand, after coming straight from Bali, I had the absolute best time with unforgettable experiences.
I will share with you everything I did to hopefully give you ideas on what you can do also! All prices listed below are in $ CAD.

Hotel stay: Novotel Kata Avista Resort & Spa
But any hotel in the Kata Beach area is wonderful.
Traveled everywhere with: Bike rental from a local shop. $10/day with no insurance, helmet included. Avoid fines by making sure you have an international drivers license.
But any hotel in the area of the Kata beach would do
Day 1
1. Big Buddha - FREE
To enter you must cover your shoulders and knees. Large scarves come in handy for me. Big Buddha Phuket was actually entirely built from donations.
You can also purchase metal leaves, write your wish, which will later come true after a Homa burning ceremony.
2. Lunch with a View- $5
Location: Nak-Kerd Seaview Cafe. Spotted this place on the way back down from Big Buddha. There are a lot of great restaurants with sea view. I ordered the calamari which was decent. However I had the...
3. Best Mango Smoothie Ever! - $1.5
Same location. This deserves it's own spot on the list. All around Thailand you can find the best tasting, sweetest most beautiful gorgeous loving decadent mango smoothies ever. Can you tell that I miss it, it’s a must when you’re here! You don't even need to add anything extra, just pure mango.
4. Cute Cafe Spot - $5-20
Right around the corner from my hotel, was this hidden gem named: A Blanket & A Pillow. With bean bags, fans to keep you cool, delicious food/bev and beautiful views. A very cozy aesthetic place to relax and take cute pictures.
5. Afternoon with Elephants
An unforgettable experience. ( Check out my blog post here ) for more details.
6. Jet Skiing - $60
Location: Kata Beach. Found someone on the beach offering jet ski services. $50 USD for 45 min. Breathtaking and exhilarating. Definitely a highlight of my trip.
Day 2
Island Tour at KO HE Banana Beach- $100
We got picked up at our hotel around 10am and headed to Ko He Island for a half day (10-4pm) full of fun activities. We got to relax, enjoy beautiful views of the island, eat so much Thai food, and do 3 fun activities of our choice. Listed below are the ones I did.
1. Snorkeling
Just living my best life.
2. Thai FEAST
They don't know what your preference is so they bring you 10 different dishes to eat from!! If that isn't heaven I don't know what is. They literally were ALL SO GOOD like 10/10 and I'm not an easy rater haha.
You can order dessert and drinks separately at the bar. These deep fried Oreos speak for themselves.
3. Clear Canoe
I forgot to take pictures here, but nothings better than being present and soaking it all in.
4. Banana Boat
I can't believe I was almost not about to do this activity, I'm glad I was pushed to. The ADRENALINE that this gives you! The driver goes slow then FAST as he plays tricks on you while you're fearing yet anticipating when you're going to fall off and into the water. So fun!
5.Dinner at Award Winning Restaurant- $50
After the island we went to Mom Tri's Kitchen Seafood for an evening dinner. It is even prettier at night, as you hear the strong waves in the background and see the island illuminated. We ordered drinks and a bunch of appetizers ranging from 300-500 baht each so around $10-20 each. The ambiance is beautiful, peaceful and romantic and the service was top notch. Definitely worth it.
6.Thai Massage - $10-15
Can't go to Thailand without a thai massage! I wanted to see what the hype was about. We went to one not too far from our hotel that didn't look "sketch". It was a nail salon that had a spa upstairs. You must take off your shoes before entering, and can choose what type of massage you want. You can choose different combos like foot and back for example and choose your level of intensity and time needed. As someone who has never got a professional massage before I accidently chose intense, and the lady went crazy, it hurttt at some points but I was too afraid to tell the strong lady to stop, don't be like me! Or else you'll be super sore the next day. The foot message was good though!
Plan on going to Thailand? Have any questions? Have you been to Thailand, if so what was your experience like? Please comment down below, I would love to hear about it!
Until the next trip, adios! <3
